The development comprises a shopping complex (12,000 sqm retail area) in the form of a single level mall, including two main anchor units, 24 retail units, first floor level food court, and an open roof car park (270 car spaces) located above the entire shopping complex.

At the design stage the company’s responsibilities included preparation of a Fire Safety Certificate application for the original proposal.

The Fire Safety Certificate application required detailed fire engineering analysis in relation to smoke control issues, evacuation procedures, structural fire resistance, external fire spread etc.

AFEC was responsible for preparation of the Fire Safety Certificate applications for the original proposal and the subsequent design modifications supervision during the construction stage and Certification of Compliance with Part B of the Building Regulations.
