The new contemporary primary care facility brings together a multitude of health professionals including Allergy, Breast Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Dermatology, ENT Surgery, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Health Screening, Interventional Cardiology, Maxillofacial, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Period ontology, Plastic Surgery, Prosthodontology, Psychology, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Urology and Vascular Surgery. The building also incorporates primary care clinical support services, administration and staff facilities. The development consists of a seven storey building incorporating secondary healthcare support services. In line with the Abu Dhabil Health Strategy, the development will facilitate interdisciplinary groups of general practitioners, nurses, midwifes, health care assistants, home helpers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, receptionists and clerical staff. This exclusive care premises demanded a highly specified building to house state of the art equipment as well as providing the occupants with a beautiful and luxury environment to assist the recovery of the patients. The demanding brief on a constrained site challenged AFEC to innovate with respect to outdoor space and access this exciting project is the first Health Care Project AFEC delivered outside of Ireland.
